E-Commerce & Vinyl Preorder Terms

Nature of Products

All vinyl records sold through Chroma Sine are custom-made or made-to-order products, manufactured specifically per preorder campaign.

This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Vinyl pressings

  • Sleeves, inserts, and artwork

  • Limited or artist-specific editions


Preorders & Payment

  • Preorders require full payment upfront to initiate production.

  • Production begins only after preorder confirmation and minimum manufacturing thresholds (if applicable).

  • Estimated delivery dates are non-binding and may change due to manufacturing, logistics, or supply-chain factors.


Cancellations & Refunds (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

Under UK law, custom-made goods are exempt from the 14-day cooling-off period.

Accordingly:

  • Preorders cannot be cancelled once production has started

  • Refunds are only issued if:

    • The product is not produced, or

    • The order cannot be fulfilled due to cancellation by the artist or manufacturer

Delays alone do not automatically entitle customers to a refund.


Defective or Damaged Goods

If a product arrives damaged or defective, customers must notify us within 14 days of delivery, including:

  • Order number

  • Description of the issue

  • Clear photographic evidence

Where applicable, we will coordinate:

  • Replacement

  • Partial refund

  • Manufacturer claim


Role & Liability Clarification

Chroma Sine Records Ltd acts as an intermediary and coordinator between:

  • Artists

  • Manufacturing plants

  • Logistics and fulfilment partners

We do not own the artistic content and do not manufacture the records ourselves.

All intellectual property remains the sole property of the respective artists.

Our liability is limited to:

  • Order coordination

  • Communication

  • Production and fulfilment management
